Comments: Primary mission is to respond to drowning or other water related emergencies in Oconee County, SC. To assist law enforcement agencies with underwater search, recovery, and evidence processing and documentation of the underwater crime scene as requested. Our secondary missions include other underwater related operations that provide benefits to the community. The Oconee County Dive Team is a NIMS Type 1 Public Safety Dive Team, trained and equipped with surface supplied diving systems. Our team is a composite of the Sheriff's dive team and the Rescue Dive Team
